Kudos to Peeta Mellark for going through so much bullshit and still be better than all of us.
And while I was talking, the idea of actually losing Peeta hit me again and I realised how much I don’t want him to die. And it’s not about the sponsors. And it’s not about what will happen back home. And it’s not just that I don’t want to be alone. It’s him. I do not want to lose the boy with the bread.
Remarkably unchanged except for the vacant look in her eyes.
can we just take a moment to appreciate the line “it’s the things we love most that destroy us”.
like snow knew how much katniss loved peeta before she even did. he used him as a weapon to break her. their love is so strong that a) what happened to peeta was one of katniss’ worst fears and b) despite being brainwashed peeta slowly finds his way back to her.
i just really love them ok i am not ok.
